Happy 4th Blogiversary & Give Away!!

today is my 4 year blogiversary!

4 years!!

1,460 days ago i stumbled into the blogosphere unaware that i would become a full-time resident of Blogville!

Blogging has provided for me a place to worship-
to "enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart,"
as i seek blog-worthy moments,
and discover and delight in the abundant life
God has generously given me.

Blogging has created a space for the Spirit to rewrite my story,
bit by bit,
and in Grace.

Blogging has blessed me with community;
as i read your stories,
see glimpses of your lives,
and am inspired by you
to know Him,
to share Him,
to live in Him,
to make my life daily an offering of worship to our good God.

As a thank you to you for being a part of this blogging journey
I'm giving away a copy of
by Ann Voscamp

AND
because you will NEED something to write your own 1000 gifts in
i'm also giving away a

Happy Blogiversary!!!!

I have been so blessed through blogging and met people who have encouraged me in ways I never expected.

In fact, just about a year ago you commented on a post of mine (I said I was considering leaving my church) and you cheered me on along that journey. I never thanked you for that, but it meant the world to me.

YaY Happy Blogiversary!!

I have been blessed through others inspiring me to keep writing even when I felt fear creeping up. I am learning to trust Him in all things, even the words He gives me.

Blogging has allowed me to open up and be real about who I am and who God made me to be. It has also taught me a good deal about persevering instead of giving up. I have been blogging for about 18 months and there have been times I have wanted to just give up.. but God has pushed me on and told me to write.. and just when I am about to push the "delete" button He gives me something to write that not only shocks me but blesses someone else. This is why I blog.

My greatest blessing has been meeting so many sisters. I have been so encouraged with my walk as a mommy, wife, and daughter to the King. I love it!

My favorite nacho topping besides the cheese would have to be sour cream. I could eat it everyday. Thanks for the chance.

Blogging for 4 years...wow. I can't believe it has been that long.
I used to blog everyday and then a shadow fell over me and my voice seemed silent.
Happily I am blogging again.
THanks for your encouragement my friend. I need and love you.
What was I supposed to answer?
I forgot. LOL.
I will post about your giveaway, cuz I'm a blogger...again.

Ok, I love cheese on my Nachos. Not glamorous, but hey, it isn't nachos without cheese, right?

I've been blessed through blogging by meeting so many new wonderful friends, many who I've met in real life. I can think of a few who I've only known for a few years, but it seems like a lifetime.

Happy blogiversary to you!

Denise-
I don't know if you even remember me, but you've been on my heart lately and I wanted to share.

There is so much about you that I admire, so much that inspires me. I think you and I share some burdens, but you have carried them so well, and given them to God in such a way that your joy is genuine. I love that about you. It gives me hope that I will be there too. When I read your blog, I see more of who I want to be. Thank you for being you, for loving Jesus the way you do, and for being the woman that you are. Years after we first 'met', you're still affecting people with your story...thank you!

I've been blessed by the fact that I'm {slowly} coming out of my shell and writing about my life again. Reading others' blogs has been a real encouragement in that.

Favorite nacho topping: BBQ Chicken. Sounds weird, but Smokey Bones has these BBQ Chicken Nachos that are to DIE FOR.

Happy Blogging!

Like others, I have "met" so many new people and created some memorable friendships (my kids are pen pals with Kristen Cheney's kids)! On the otherhand, my kids say I'm "addicted" to blogs....and they might be right, I just love reading about different families, cooking & craft ideas, etc. Anyways, I so enjoy all that you bloggers do and feel that I have gained so much from all of you!

Okay, you got me into this blogging thing because I sooo loved the title you came up with :D. I enjoy "keeping" up with people both far and near, I love the encouragement I've received through gifted writers like yourself, and I love being able to document my thoughts and my pictures.

It is easier to tell my least favorite topping rather than my fav, jalapenos.
