w.i.w.w.

pleated poppy
i'm link'n up with the s.i.l., lindsey, for what i wore wednesday.
it has been forever since i've linked up.

because i suffer from brrr-itus and can't tolerate the cold, i hibernate in my red hoodie, gray tee, and black yoga pants ALL WINTER.
it gets kinda gross after a while week.
you don't want me to w.i.w.w. that.

but come spring i'm ready for a change {so is my husband}.

this week the weather has been perfection!

"i like big hair and i cannot lie, that's somethin' i can't deny."
i can't help it.
in my big hair defense, i am from "the cowboy capitol of the world."
big hair is part of my d.n.a.

michael likes my hair curly.
the lake community of 800 where he grew up is not the capitol of anything.
i don't know why he likes curly hair.

where to find the threads i'm wearing-
first outfit: red top-target {old}, skinny jeans & striped tennies- old navy, petal pusher- the pleated poppy.
second outfit- gray rose tee- forever 21, baby blue mossimo pants- target {8 yrs old}, gray shoes- payless shoes {$3 last year. score!}, lisa leonard necklace, clutch- the pleated poppy.
last outfit- black n' white striped tee & dark skinny jeans- old navy, turquoise cardi-nordstrom rack, black gladiator shoes- ? last year, red cherry necklace {gift from kristen}- lisa leonard.

what's that?
you like the canvas wrap on my back wall.
my husband and i created that.
we're working on opening our etsy shop, "kiss the sky."
it's taking longer than we anticipated,
but it is coming.
i look forward to sharing all the pieces we have been designing together.

happy wednesday, friends!

and finally, you other brothers can't deny that I love your big hair and will be singing the rest of that song all night!

YOU SAID YOU HAD A BIG ASS AND YOU DO NOT!

SO stinkin cute
If I were a guy, I'd totally date you.

And your clothes??? Your style? So adorable.
I dress like an ass. Every day. I wear the same thing.
And I used to be a personal shopper at Bloomingdales in NYC! You'd never know it.
I look homeless.

NOW...that canvas...

Can I place an order? Do you do that yet?
Last week the reading was about I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES...

you know..

BEARING GOOD FRUIT....

I thought long and hard on that
because I did cut my branch off once before..and I DID NOT bear any fruit. I was miserable. To myself To everyone. SO I came back to the vine...the pruning hurt like crazy...and I have had some really scary moments, and thoughts of jumping again..you know...planting MYSELF in my own garden and seeing how THAT goes.
Well. THAT doesn't go.
THAT dies.

SO I love that quote...and I think I would love it on a canvas made by cute little YOU :-)

Thanks for stopping by my awesome MOTHERS DAY GIVE AWAY! One more day left...hope you win!

You look amazing! I missed your What I Wore Wednesday posts.

Let's start with that hair - it is fab. Like really, just wonderful. And the fact that you can wear it curly or straight? Very jealous indeed.

And of course you look great in everything, that's no shock. Teal and red is one of my favorite combinations, so I love the petal pusher you wore with the red top. And the light teal with the red necklace is equally as wonderful.

I know the quotes I want to order too :)

Definitely Hebrews 13:2 Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.

and Ruth 1:16
Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.

Get that shop up and running, girl. I need new wall art!

You look completely adorable in all of your outfits!! I love all your shoes.

I like big hair, too. I loved the 80's... it was my hair decade. :) Your hair looks so cute both ways.

And I'm so glad your Etsy shop will be up soon. Very excited about it! :)
