good morning

summer invites me to:
sleep in past 8
(hey, i've paid my wake-up-at-the-crack-of-dawn-with-the-little-ones-dues.
i'm enjoying the land of big kids now),
to greet my world with a good morning kiss,
to grab a bowl of cereal,
bury it in a sea of blueberries,
then plop down in the middle of the couch,
to visit with my oldest and dearest friends,
lucy & ethel.

how do you spend your summer mornings?

I was sleeping in at home...then I took my son to baseball camp and had to get up early to get him there on time.

I left there yesterday to head to my mom and dad's house to watch my oldest sister's kids while she went on a trip with my parents and her youngest gets up with the sun.

So no sleeping in for me lately but hopefully those days will return SOON!

And I have to have my coffee in the morning (but I don't fill it with blueberries!!!). :)

Happy Friday!

A great way to start the day! Just wanted to stop in and say thanks for the comment on my WIWW. Your blog is so cute and I laughed at your comment about the love hate relationship with homeschool. I was homeschooled and so glad, even more now that Im a teacher. Well just wanted to say thanks and have a great day!

I can SO see you watching Lucy! Haven't seen that show in years.

Summer mornings...I love having a long breakfast at the kitchen island with my daughter and then heading outside to fill up her kiddie pool with water.
