I am tired of reprimanding my kids. i miss them. i miss me. but this is part of life... "i can't go over it, can't go under it, can't go around it, have to go through it." (from We're Going on a Bear Hunt)
denise i know that somedays are trying, but all i can say is they grow-up fast so enjoy all of being a mom sooner then you think they will be parents themselves and rthen you get the JOY of being grandma, you also home school your babies, so just know that takes a very special mommy to do that, hang in there kido better days to come , love aunt viv
The days of laughing and playing with you will last in their minds. They will remember the crazy times, fun trips, cool life school days and great snuggle times. Shake days like this one off with the dust. No biggy!
You aren't alone. I so completely feel you on this one. My almost 6 year old was just being super sassy this morning and my husband said "Every day? It's like this EVERY day?" I said no. Some days. Which is why momma said there'd be days like this. Lots of them. :)
I know that feeling - some days more than others. It is hard. There are those days but hopefully the good, silly, days outweigh the others. Kids are resilient, they will forgive, and they will remember the good times.
I'm Denise Jones~ Michael's wife, Noah, Emilie, and Josie's mommy.
Jesus knows me this I love.
Praise is who I am, praise is what I do.
I love words: written, spoken, sung, lived.
I have a love/hate relationship with homeschooling.
I value time spent with a good friend.
I go nowhere without my lipstick!
"By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us- set us right with him, make us fit for him- we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that's not all; We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his doors to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand- out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting praise."
"Even in childhood was implanted within me a trace of that mysterious unity from which I was derived" St. Augustine Everybody has to change or they expire. Everybody has to leave, leave their home and come back so they can love it again for all new reasons. I want to keep my soul fertile for the changes, so things keep getting born in me, so things keep dying when it is time for things to die. I want to keep walking away from the person I was a moment ago. Only a good story has a character that's different at the end than it was in the beginning. Through Painted Deserts - Donald Miller
"Our whole life was only given to us to advance us by great strides toward our heavenly country." Lancelot Andrews
"So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life - your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life - and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him."
