Breath

What was it like when Jesus took His first Breath after death?

When God breathed new Life into Him?

That moment isn't shared in scripture.
It takes place in the secret...
the beautiful rebirth...
the Father holding His lifeless Son...
the breath...
the LIFE!

No longer separated.

The embrace.

That wonder-full moment, the beauty, intimacy, holiness of that moment.

I wonder what it was like when Jesus took His first Breath?

This is the air I breath
This is the air I breath
Your holy presence living in me
And I, I'm desperate for You
And I, I'm lost without you.

I don't think I've ever thought of that, Denise.

How amazing it would have been to witness that moment. The breath and life of God, conquering death. Beautiful!

You know, I've never thought of that first breath. I think of a baby when I hear first breath and Jesus' first breath after death has never crossed my mind. What a wonderful picture!! Thanks so much for writing about this. I can't wait to share it with my husband!
